Can I make a suggestion that P3Scan be re-built with it’s output sent to one of the “local” destinations, and not syslog to allow the configuration of it’s own log file. It’s a very chatty program, and as such the volume of data overwhelms /var/log/messages.
UPDATE
I never knew about the ability to filter syslog entries by program name and/or message contents. You learn something new every day.
So, I guess you can ignore this request. I did think there was a way to delete a post, but can’t seem to find it now.
