QoS on NS8 capabilities

Hi,

With the arrival of NethVoice/Proxy, QoS is absolutely required. On NS7 QoS was possible, how about on NS8? I hope the requirement for being able implement QoS on NS8 is not an extra box…

The QoS is usually done on the firewall, there is not need for it on the server itself.
So just configure the QoS on your network firewall.
If you’re using NethSecurity 8, all you need to do is setting the download/upload speed and the QoS will do its own job.

Thanks, like several others, I am using a single hosted VPS (in the cloud), no local equipment, nor proxmox.

In this case usually you should not worry about QoS: it’s out of your control.
