Another way could be to insert Stephane repo to Software Center like the following picture illustrates.

This can be already accomplished with some conditions

1. an RPM containing the .repo file for /etc/yum.repos.d/ was uploaded to NethForge
2. a module was defined on NethForge comps file
3. the RPM is installed on the local system
4. the new repository has a category tag definition (see example)

The maintenance/development of the stephdl repository (about 2500 IP per month) is about to be difficult with a full job beside. Maybe you did not see how the usage of NS is rising.

Open the stephdl repository to subscriptions (gpl code will stay on GH). This could be my next job.
Take the free time to learn web development and look to be hired (actually I’m really busy on it)
Ride my MTB and go to the mountains.

Last option sounds great! I’m joking

I vote for having it in core, but of course @stephdl has the last word.

I vote subscription, would love the option. Also MTB I like that you should do that anyways…
