Problem with Docker

Hello All,

I’ve updated my nethserver to the latest version (7.9) and it’s working great.
But I also had/have Docker installed and herein lies the problem.

When I look in Cockpit/services, the docker service is not running. Even when I try to start it, it gives me an error message (cannot start.)

When I followup this error message, it gives me the following info:
{
“id”: “1607790627”,
“type”: “EventFailed”,
“message”: “Action failed”
}

I’ve already reinstalled all the files, like docker-ce, nethserver-docker and all related.

Bu the strange thing is, when I start the docker daemon manually in a terminal with the command ‘dockerd’ it runs perfectly.

And it worked perfectly in version 7.8

I hope somebody can give me a clue or hint, where to look for the problem.

Greetings,
Henk

what is the output in the terminal ?

systemctl status docker

systemctl restart docker

docker ps

everything wrong or good are logged to /var/log/docker/docker.log

Thanks for looking into this.

Greetings,

You cannot create docker0 because it probably still exists a docker0 gost

Reading this

Either remove the network folder content or asign another network to docker0
