Right, but as I know it from ubuntu, I have to change the following files as well:
/etc/postfix/relaymaps
and
/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd
When I change these files, are the changes made permanently or do I have to change some templates. Which templates would I have to change? Is the guide mentioned above still correct?
Sorry, but it is not clear for me what to change and where with Nethserver?
/etc/postfix/relaymaps is not templated and could be edited directly.
/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd is templated so you have to add a new fragment /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd/90custom with the changes you need.
To apply the changes and restart the services in case of postfix:
Just to verify, as I understood the Templates guide, I have to add the new fragment 90custom to /etc/e-smith/templates-custom and not to /etc/e-smith/templates as mentioned above, right?
I had to add a new file named sender_canonical to the postfix directory /etc/postfix.
That shouldn’t be a problem, it shouldn’t be overwritten by any template or other mechanism, right?
