Portainer CE 2.1.1 is here

See this announcement

Portainer CE 2.1.1 is here. Now with support for Compose >3 in standalone hosts, and Compose 3.8 for Swarm. Upgrade today! https://bit.ly/3p4IDO5

We run portainer 1.x and recently we have had @mrmarkuz and I a bug relative to IPv6 and the last docker version 20.10.6

The bug author related the last version of portainer, I think it could be fun to get it…do you have some system administrator inputs on the upgrade

not a big user of portainer but it seems a dropin solution

docker rm -f portainer
in /etc/e-smith/events/actions/nethserver-docker-create-portainer

- portainer/portainer \
+ portainer/portainer-ce \

signal-event nethserver-docker-update

you remove the old version, retrieve the new image, build and launch portainer-ce (v2.1.1)

NOTES:
IF YOU ARE RUNNING A “HISTORIC” VERSION OF PORTAINER (IE OLDER AND 1.23.X) PLEASE EITHER FIRST UPGRADE TO 1.24.1 AND/OR BACKUP YOUR PORTAINER.DB FILE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO UPGRADE TO CE 2.0; THERE ARE REPORTED ISSUES OF DB CORRUPTION WHEN ATTEMPTING TO UPGRADE FROM SUCH AND OLD VERSION TO LATEST IN ONE STEP.

from https://hub.docker.com/r/portainer/portainer-ce

Since you must explicitly remove the portainer container to build it again, maybe it is safe to adjust to portainer-ce and wait the system administrator decides when he wants to force the upgrade
