Paperless-ngx.env not found

Hello everyone,
i am new here so please forgive my initial mistakes. I have installed nethserver 8 in Proxmox for testing purposes and a problem with paperlessngx.
After updating the app from version 1.2.1 to 1.3.1 via the software center, the program no longer starts. When calling the paperlessngx website, the message “bad gateway” appears.

The only error that i can find in the system log file is:

[1:paperlessngx1:podman] Error: parsing file “/home/paperlessngx1/.config/state/paperless-ngx.env”: open /home/paperlessngx1/.config/state/paperless-ngx.env: no such file or directory

The file does not exist in the /home/paperlessngx1/.config/state directory.

The file /home/paperlessngx1/.config/systemd/user/paperless-server.service contains the following lines:
ExecStart=/usr/bin/podman run
…
–env-file=%S/state/paperless-ngx.env
…

What can I do?

Hello @Alex69 after updating to the latest version, you need to save the nee configuration under the settings page for the changes to take effect.

Have you done this?

thank you for the advise, but what do you mean about it, the setting page of nethserver or paperlessngx? Where i can find it?

you are right, klick on “Save configuration” under Paperlessngx - preferences solved the problem!
