I cant setup the owning group in the samba file share module. Further information shown in the gif.
Sounds like a interface bug to me…
But how can I do it instead?

I can confirm that in Cockpit, the GUI reacts as expected, and the share is created with the chosen “owner group”:
You may need to check for updates…
If the bug still remains on your system, you can install the old NethGUI (Port 980), also known as older Server Manager. I can confirm that SMB settings work here too!

The folder isn’t created.
I can’t use the old gui because I get a error.
(This Site doesn’t work 192.168.2.192 didn’t sent data.)
Then it’s easily possible that something went wrong while setting up your server?
Maybe at this early stage, it might make sense to do a reinstall.
Server Manager or creating a share always works, if the install went through correctly, and Internet is accessible (To install the Account Provider).

I don’t exactly know why burt it works after some reinstalling of the old Server Manager. Thanks for your help.
