ownCloud 7.0.7 has been released. But, it is broken. Preliminarily, it appears that some of the apps are being released with v7 updates that require php 5.4.
So, basically, I’m saying, proceed with caution.

I noticed that, as well, after installing OwnCloud for the first time the other day. The “dropbox” functionality appears to be working fine, but as you say, adding additional apps doesn’t seem to work because of NS php v 5.3.3.
