OpenVPN throughput

Hi Guys,

I have set up an OpenVPN Server on NS. It was pretty straight forward which is great.
However it was not possible to download a file from a NAS into my network faster than 300KB/s
Whit an ASUS router with a 800MHz single core CPU on board i was able to achieve 1,5 MB/s.
Could it be something wrong with the configuration i have made

I don’t think that OpenVPN configuration and throughput problem are connected, it depends on bandwidth, file size and so on…
Are you able to download the same file, from the same NAS and same source, avoiding the VPN connection? Do you have different performance?
