OpenVPN site2site and roadwarriors simultaneously

Hello folks,

How can one have these two models working together on the same server?

Best regards,

You configure the Roadwarrior using the UI and once that is done, place your own site2site OpenVPN conf file, assuming that NS is the ā€œclientā€ side, in the /etc/openvpn directory. Iā€™m not sure if this is how it would also work if NS is the server side though, as I only run a VPN client alongside Roadwarrior. NS will then start/stop both configurations at the same time.

Cheers.

Hi EddieA,

Thanks for the reply!

I was able to have everything functioning via command line.
I had to manually edit and add all the configs, which I didnā€™t wanted that way, cause on my first attempt to change a little detail on the GUI broke everything.

The problems I had:

  1. I want the NS to be as the server side. The other side uses a dynamic IP address.
  2. For this to work OpenVPN needs to use different ports. So I had to open them via ā€˜config setpropā€™.
(How do you open a range of ports?)
  3. Since I have many users I also want them to be connected at the same time.

Best regards,
