What happens when a successful classic Linux distribution, supported by awell-es… tablished international community of users and backed by a company, faces the challenges of a fast-paced open-source world of cloud-nativetechnologies, containers, and Kubernetes? Will the project abandon its roots and embrace new trends (Buy/Flight)? Or will it stick to its original mission and values (Make/Fight)?This is the story of NethServer, an open-source Linux distribution based onCentOS, born around 2011, and its migration from a classic Linux distributionto a modern, multi-node container orchestration platform. The talk will cover:* The motivations behind the choice of Make instead of Buy* An overview of the new architecture and its features* The impact on the community and the companyThe talk will also provide insights on how to build a successful open-sourceproject and community in a world where the only constant is change.

i’m sorry i can’t contribute, the electric services agency suspended our electric service because they are charging us an excessive rate, as if we lived in the wealthy areas. yesterday after so much fighting and appealing for them to review our meters, we were able to have service again.
