FYI, I did a def update on a NS* Rocky Linux box today (Feb 8th, 2024) and there are several important components being updates such as kernel, SELinux, Grub, Network manager, Qemu, Systemd, Libsss, OpenSSL etc.
After the update all seems to run fine.
