This is more a FYI or note-to-self kind of post.
The option “Replace existing app” is not intended to replace any same app instance but just the one the backup was originated from (or one that was already restored retaining same internal string ID).

for a module you have module_ID like samba1 but also module_UUID (random string), IIRC the ID of a module is based on UUID
