NS8 and PiHole Module

I’m just wondering if there is any plans to include a PiHole Module for NS8?

I can’t remember if this has been discussed yet or where I should go to add it to as a feature request?

Well, I have PiHole running on NS7 and it’s really helpful with kids kids in the house and it keep away the unwanted adds.

Also not urgent right now, it would definitely be something good to have as I can see that it would be beneficial in certain environments.

We have a number if apps in the works, however I have added it to among list of apps to be worked on.

Thanks @dnutan . For the NethSecurity option, I guess it needs to be either bare-metal or in ProxyMox as opposed to being installed in an NS8 Node?

For more than 5 years, PI Holes at my clients have never once “barfed” because of crappy, faulty lists or list providers. It just works, rock solid. I have always used a super thin LXC container in Proxmox for this, and continue to do so.

I just can’t say the same for threat shield - either on NS7 or NS8!

I haven’t used ThreatShield much anywhere (although I did test it once for a day or two).

And yes, I have found PiHole to be simple to install and configure and simply rock solidas well

pihole works well, right, you need a dhcp to push the dns, on todo
