Not able to update due to "file contains no section headers" error

I have just installed N7 A3 on my machine, all appeared to install ok. However when I went to install software I got a yum cache error. I started a terminal as root and cleared the cache and ran the install script that I had from Steph. I cannot update and get the error " file contains no section headers file: file:///yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo, line: 1
’\x0\x00\x00 "

Any suggestions please.

Edit the file and remove any space or blank line at the top.

It would appear I have a disk problem. Either that or the software that loads up for my mobo has a bug.

Did you sort it out yet? In that case please mark this topic as resolved.

Not yet, I will be testing again this week, it would appear that I had a tempory problem with my mobo. It seems to be working ok now, so i will try loading up again this week.
