No software updates and no applications

I lost power to my nethserver and when it booted up I see

Other than this, it seems to be working OK - any ideas?

Maybe incomplete repo metadata?

Go to the terminal and run

yum clean all

Tried that and then rebooted. Same result although something was happening as the progress circle on both areas spun around for a couple of minutes

Does this happen to be on your Raspberry PI?

We had troubles with the repodata / metadata for arm (the data yum reads from the software repository)

@davidep was so kind to rebuild this repodata during his holiday, and it works as expected again on arm.

Yes @mark_nl this is on my pi! I reinstalled the OS and all is good again but I suspect that’s just because it took me a long time to get it running again

I’m afraid not… can not reproduce
The repodata looks good and has not changed since 28-12-2020 10:52 (CET).

Did you try the reload button in the software center?

alternatively you may check it in the terminal:

Are you sure, the software center is “emtpy” (ie show no nethserver modules) ?

Seems to me you are still on nethserver 7.8.2003…

Do you get this error Error ?: No group data available for configured repositories if you execute :

yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=nethserver-updates groups list

EDIT: checked some packages yum can not find and the do exist on the location yum looks for it:
nethserver-arm-epel-7-2.ns7
perl-Text-Template-1.59-2.el7.noarch.rpm

Seems to me you have an network problem or your locale (ru?) blocks some mirrors…
