No logging of events after today's core update

NethServer Version: NS 8
Module: System logs

Hello developers,

I have just installed the offered core update (2.5.2). Now the system logs are empty and no new events are being generated. The only module running on my NS8 is Samba AD.
Any idea what the problem is?

Regards…

Uwe

No, I updated a Rocky node and a Debian cluster and there are still log entries.

Can you see entries on CLI using

journalctl

Yes, only this:

Which distro are you using? Rocky?

Yes,becuase i cant buy a subscribtion for a other os like Debian and Alma.

Case closed. The error must have occurred after one of the updates between 19.02.24 and 22.02.2024. This does not have to have been the NS8 updates. There was also a kernel update and a few others for Rocky. After restoring from PBS and re-installing all updates, the event log works again.

Regards…

Uwe
