No IP visible in cluster-admin CLI

Hi,

Not a big issue or a cosmetic thing, but i dont see the IP of Nethserver in the cluster admin at the command line by DHCP.
When i change it to static it is visible

Linux ns8 6.1.0-44-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.164-1 (2026-03-09) x86_64

All is working properly, but it looks strange

Yes. I know a static IP is better

Yes, you already did the right thing! IP assignment with DHCP is not supported by NS8: System requirements — NS8 documentation

Requirements apart – even with a static IP – sometimes the console login prompt do not show the correct IP just after the system boot and it needs a refresh/reload event to happen (e.g. failed login, or login timeout) to pick up the fixed message from /etc/issue.d.
