I’m used to Nextcloud in NS7, as an administrator, having a dropdown menu that looks like
Nextcloud on NS8 is different. There is no Users or Administrator Settings or Apps choices in the dropdown menu
I noticed that my display name for the user I created in NS8, shows up in Nextcloud, so it seems like NS8 is handling users (and groups?) for Nextcloud? Do admins in NS8 automatically become admins in Nextcloud?
The Users menu in NS7’s Nextcloud allowed you to add groups, which you could assign users to. You could then assign groups to group folders created in the group folders app, which was only accessible to admininstrators in Nextcloud.
How about apps? I was using Group Folders in NS7, which I could assign users to. Since there’s no Apps selection in NS8’s Nextcloud dropdown menu, I can’t add apps within Nextcloud.
