Nethsecurity supports 2 Internet connections, and while I have been unhappy with outages with my internet service, I haven’t been able to justify the cost of a 2nd service. Starlink has some new packages that make it more affordable, especially if you think about it as a lower-speed emergency backup, rather than something you use all the time. Their pricing varies based on locale, so I won’t quote them here, however they now have options that don’t have a big up-front equipment expense.
In what part(s) of the world specifically?
Is it now possible to set up port forwarding within the terminals?
If not, what practical use do the terminals have for server operations?
All I have looked at is California, United States.
I don’t understand the relevance of your point about forwarding ports. In my case, I have a broadband internet connection through Comcast (under Xfinity brand name). Since NethSecurity supports two internet service connections, A second can be configured for either load balancing, or if you want to minimize cost, some Starlink plans are cheap with limited volume.
Don’t your servers also need to be accessible from outside via the alternative WAN connection?
I’m really interested in finding out whether port forwarding is now possible.
Your question applies to any system that uses the standard feature supporting two internet connections, and I don’t know the answer.
