On a positive constructive observation - initially when I load the website, Chrome thinks it is in Italian (no idea why yet):
If I select English Translate, the Login and Download icons change slightly:
instead of the following:
I know, I know - it’s stupidly small and stupidly pendantic, but that threw me a little and it took me a couple of seconds to figure out what was changing on the page when changing the language.
Small typo (Subscription page): Refound Policy (I guess should be “Refund”, both in point #2 and faq).
“Docs” and “Documentation” menu can be seen as redundant.
On the Issues page no mention of NS8 and the issues page (dev/issues) is the same as the one used for NS7 issues (that is listed under EOL), which might confuse some users.
No mention of nethsecurity (missed opportunity), other than in the pricing page, without explaining what is it or needed for.
Documentation page: No link to nethsecurity (I know it’s not part of NS8 but…)
Other than those small things, reading that NethVoice offers integration with CRM systems can lead someone to ask themselves if it is integrated with any of the other nethserver apps like odoo (or even not full CRM like webtop groupware or other apps having a database of contacts with phone numbers, for instance).
Subscription page:
How many subscriptions do I need? Each NethServer cluster needs a subscription, but you can add multiple nodes. Every subscription key is bound to the unique “Server ID” of your server.
Is that true?
Does the site comply with Cookie Notice according to EU regulations? (I don’t like all those pop-ups but…)
EDIT: I see it does have something to manage it:
but
The warning icon that appears on your website is an indicator that something is not quite right in your ***** account.
Thanks for your suggestions, I will fix everything asap.
I don’t know how to link nsec and nser yet, they’re different projects
Maybe a box at the end of a page with the quote:
Are you looking for a Firewall UTM made by the NethServer Team?
Try NethSecurity
I needed to highlight our main apps, I can’t create something complex on WordPress. I think that by looking at our wiki or software center the user can have a more complete overview
the users should go there to get more information, but need a well defined list of Apps, to sll to them.
I first came to Nethserver because iw anted a simple way to deploy nextcloud, in an easy way that could also be integrated with ldap. Thats the initial reason why i came and used nethserver. But i found other more interesting things.
