On my production server I have several groups with spaces in between the name, e.g. “sql user”.
I just installed a new NS v7 virtual server, I already activated Active Directory, but when I try to create the same groups; it throws an error message and I can’t create it unless I replace the space with an underscore.
Any tips to solve this problem and be able to use spaces in the group names?

AFAIK, the group name must not contain spaces, these are allowed in the description…
Example Group: remotedesktopusers…
AFAIK, MS does this too, the Apps just have a filter set. You CAN use these to find out the needed group name…

Oh my… I tried on my productive server and the same message occurred.
It’s been so long since I made those groups that I don’t remember if I made them from nethserver or with RSAT. And this restriction does not exist in my old SBS 2000.
