We are pleased to announce the release of NethVoice 1.5.4, an important update that brings improvements to installation, interface, and user experience, along with numerous stability fixes.

Our work continues on local NAT management, the phonebook, and Artificial Intelligence.

:man_mage: New Installation Wizard for NethVoice on NethServer 8

A guided installation wizard is now available to configure NethVoice in a simple and organized way, without having to navigate through different sections.

The wizard allows you to:

  • Automatically install and configure the user base (if needed)
  • Install and configure NethVoice Proxy (if needed)
  • Optionally request SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt

The application has been redesigned to be clearer and more functional:

  • Settings are now organized by category
  • Improved dashboard with container status, issue notifications, and quick access to NethVoice and NethVoice CTI

Have any commuity edition restrictions been “loosened”? Number of concurrent users/lines, VoIP providers, usage of (web)apps come to mind. It seems a simple functionality/version matrix is missing (https://docs.nethvoice.com/)

ps. It is mentioned ( Subscription — NS8 documentation ) that an Enterprise subscription (required for full NethVoice functionality) is only available to resellers. So in the case a random company (let’s say in India) wants to use NethVoice for it’s office workers, it is out of luck and can not buy an Enterprise license? But then again, an Enterprise subscription does not exist?

And also some other questions:

  • Pricing plans are not provided, including SaaS. (One must send an email?)
  • Limited concurrent trunks is not mentioned?
  • The limited 8 user extensions, does that inlcude (all) the virtual extensions for per user or does it total up to so 2 users can occupy all extensions?
  • What are the support response/resolution times (On prem and SaaS) are they 24/7, follow the sun, or Italian timezone based only?

I believe trancparency is key for descison makers. Now a first impression on functionality, costs, service and support is very hazy and not to be found immediately in a nice clear matrix overview. The Nethesis NethShop (https://nethshop.nethesis.it/) is not very informative and in Italian language only with no pricing.

At the moment, we don’t have a NethVoice subscription for NON resellers
That should answer all your questions.
When we have something, I can give you all the details.

@mrchiao Can you take a look at this implementation, and see if you could provide us with pointers, into implementing Frappe CRM intergation for Nethvoice

Comparing frappe:develop…navariltd:develop · frappe/crm

THis would enebale us to make and receive call inside Frappe CRM, using Nethvoice as the Pbx.
