Nethserver-roundcubemail-next is waiting testers

Hello we have something to test, roundcubemail-1.5.2 with rh-php73 and rh-mariadb105. We are trying a new approach keep roundcubemail in the stable repository because it is a LTS (1.4.x) and use nethforge to follow other versions of roundcubemail.

This leads that you have to remove first nethserver-roundcubemail because we conflict it (we want to avoid the upgrade)

We have a QA, please follow it

We need to test the upgrade, the first installation and the backup/restoration

Salut @stephdl

I just updated two Nethservers according to the instructions posted (Both Case 1, Upgrade).

Installation - no issues on both servers.

On both servers, MariaDB looks as expected:

I’ve verified that login and sending mail works on both servers.
No issues so far.

I’d say case 1, Upgrade, looks OK!

My 2 cents

could you show us the full messages logs during the upgrade, it is interesting for us

By the way lets go to test the importation and exportation

Salut @stephdl

The messages file is here:

https://intranet.rootadmin.org/ns/messages_2022-01-19

I did not notice this before, bit what are all thr systemd messages about starting a session…
plenty of those, but this server has hardly any load (yet)…

What would you like to test with import / export?

Any chance to get CrdDAV working for Roundcube?

My 2 cents
Andy

on a VM first or do a snapshot first

do a backup
kill the roundcubemail database
restore the backup

I think you can play with the event in the QA

OK, can do that early evening. At the moment still daily work to worry about.

Is the log file accessible for you?
