NethServer+NethSecurity Community Meeting at FOSDEM

As every year, the NethServer community will meet at FOSDEM in Bruxelles 1 & 2 February 2025

As Nethesis, we’ll be traveling from Italy with 11 people + @stephdl from France and @MrMarkuz from Vienna.
The idea, as always, is:

  • Let’s meet for dinner on Saturday evening at the usual Amadeus.
  • Should we organize our usual meetup in a FOSDEM room on Saturday afternoon? Let’s create a short agenda
  • Of course, we’ll all meet up at the cafeteria as well.
  • We’re submitting speech proposals for a few devrooms; hopefully, they’ll be accepted! Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome. We’ll share the outcomes here.

I’m keen to participate.
And Belgium - if you guys can come from Italy, I can come from Switzerland…
But I’ll travel through France, they’re more punctual there than in Germany.
And their trains run, not clogging up tracks and stations! :slight_smile:

All conferences of fosdem are recorded and streamed. You can see them after as well even for many older events

Hi!

I’m new to the community. Discovered NethServer 8 a little while ago, and I’m really impressed. It looks like an hidden gem of the self-hosting world!

Just saw this message, after I also submitted a talk for FOSDEM. We’ll see if it gets accepted, it’s a lightning talk (preview).

I’m attending nonetheless (from Canada :wink:) and would be interested to meet! I’m planning to become more involved in the NethServer community :slightly_smiling_face:
