I have had ns8 installed for about a week now and am very satisfied. I have noticed that the filters do not work with SOGO.
Can anyone else confirm this?

I couldn’t reproduce the issue.
Following sieve filter is working:
Maybe there’s a conflict between different (web) mail clients that want to set their own default filter rule?
Do you use imapsync to get the mails? In this case the sieve filter option needs to be enabled in imapsync, see Imapsync — NS8 documentation
Please check the logs, you should find a line like this when the filter is applied:
