NethServer 8 - compliance, license and legal question

As a lot people are pushing containers in the IT world, I started to inform myself about dockerization from a not so technical point of view. Running a business means also to be sure for compliance, legal questions and licenses.

I’d like to know under what terms is/will NS8 being distributed and subscripted from nethesis?

NethServer 8 itself is distributed under GPL v3 license. Applications are build with containers which might be distributed with other licenses, but still open source licenses.

I cannot be more precise because I’m not a legal professional.
