I hope that samba4 (AD) corrections have been applied to use Windows 11 in the latest versions.
There are some bugs in the previous version.

So sounds good. I will try it again. I have a T630 Thinclient and a HP Z420 64G Ram with XCP-NG. Hope we get nice results.

So from a marketing point of view, the change is bad. 
You see distrowatch has no reason to follow on our updates here, as NS8 is no longer a “kind-of-distro”, but something you can add on other distros.
I am all in of the change of course, just pointing this little detail.
NethServer 7 was the same, the distro was Centos8 and the NethServer was just a “framework” on the bottom of the distro.
From this point of view, it doesn’t change so much
