Nethserver 7, RC 4, error in software center

Hi everyone,

I’m back with problems in software center.

I managed to install RC4 but when I try to install email module in software center I get this error “Resolving RPM dependencies. The install/update may have failed due to metadata caching issues. Please clean the cache by clicking the button below and retry the install/update operation.” I cleared yum cache but got the same error.

I thought it’s a software center problem and ran in terminal yum install nethserver-mail-server and everything went fine. After that, in terminal i ran yum install nethserver-mail-filter and got this error “Error: clamav-data-empty conflicts with clamav-data-0.99.2-1.el7.noarch
Error: clamav-data conflicts with clamav-data-empty-0.99.2-1.el7.noarch”

Same error if i run in terminal yum install nethserver-getmail.

So I think it’s somehow related with clamav.

Ssame errors appear for pop3proxy, reverse proxy, smtp proxy, pop3 connector.

Does anyone have any idea about this error and the fix for it?

Yup. Sounds like clamav is the cause for errors. because proxy is also using clamav.

Remove clamav-data:
yum remove clamav-data
