Usually, I must to click for many times on “Domain accounts” and wait long time to open that menu and see something in the right side.

That pages are quite slow; surely, we should improve the loading times!

I have only 3 users and no group, but in the “Dashboard” there are more users, groups and machine accounts. I think some of them are from Samba VM. Am I right?

Machines should be at least 2. About users and groups counters, the dashboard counts also some hidden accounts, thus it seems there are more than what we see on the “Users and groups” page.

It’s very important to pick a good FQDN to join or operate as DC in Active Directory.

I reproduced the error with test.ro as hostname:

# journalctl -M nsdc
...
May 25 10:33:37 nsdc-test.ro samba-tool[23]: ERROR(<class 'samba.provision.ProvisioningError'>): Provision failed - ProvisioningError: guess_names: Realm 'RO' must not be equal to short domain name 'RO'!

I’m going to restrict the FQDN validator to avoid similar problems.
