NethSecurity controller doesn't work when the NethSec web interface is disabled

When disabling the web interface as explained in the documentation, the controller doesn’t connect a new unit correctly anymore. It shows connected status but doesn’t show the unit name and when you try to “Open unit” it fails.

I don’t know if it’s really a bug, not documented or I didn’t find it.

I think this can be considered a bug: if port 443 is redirect to another host, the controller could not work.

Thanks for reporting, issue opened: Controller: can't connect unit if UI is disabled on port 443 · Issue #490 · NethServer/nethsecurity · GitHub

The fix is ready to be testes: no changes on the firewall part.
We just updated the controller to user port 9090. The documentation has been updated accordingly.

Thanks, it’s working as expected now. The controller also connects to the NethSec when the web interface is disabled.
