Hi everyone, I’m trying to install nethsecurity version 8.7.1 on a Nethbox S40 via USB stick, I also followed the procedure provided by the nethesis manual itself but after preparing the stick and starting the machine it’s as if the installation doesn’t start.
How can I fix this?

It doesn’t give me any message. I can’t even see it because my NethBox doesn’t have video outputs. But from what I can gather, it’s the installation itself that won’t start.
But how do you access it? Ssh terminal? Https?

Can’t you access it? How did you start the installation by USB?
as it was explained to me in the various Nethesis documentation, after having prepared the pen drive and connected it to the Nethbox, the system automatically detects the pen drive and starts the installation, in fact with the 7 installations it worked like this
But is nethbox still functional? Without the USB
yes the nethbox still works even if I unplug the USB
Perfect, have you prepared the USB again or changed the device and tried it? From nethbox you can’t do the update without the USB. I don’t have a nethbox.
I tried to redo the pendrive several times even with different software but it gives me the same result and I can’t change the device because I only have the nethbox with which to try
But from SSH you can run: api-cli ns.update check-system-update?
