Nethsec gui or server broken

Man, I’m not sure what I even did to break this. A nethsec vm on proxmox. A debian 13 vm on proxmox. NS8 on the debian 13 VM (yet to work - as indicated in my other topic in this forum). Everything on the nethsec gui is pink boxes showing cannot retrieve system info network error. Last things I did this morning is disable threat shield on nethsec to install ns8 on the debian vm. I had not reenabled threat shield afterwards. The only public IP assigned to anything was the debian vm, through network bridges in proxmox. All of it was working until I opened some inbound wan ports in nethsec firewall and then tried creating letsencrypt certs within nethsec and debian. Hoping to access ns8 cluster-admin from a remote web browser.

I def broke something. Perhaps a brute force attack? Don’t people have better things to do with their time?

Nevermind on this one. I think the cerficate generating on both vms (i.e., nethsec and debian with ns8) messed things up in my firefox cache. Cleared it out and had to accept the risk again, after entering mynethsecIP:9090, before I could login again. I’ll keep playing with the letsencrypt certs. I think they need to be on the nethsec VM since it’s assigned the public IP on the wan bridge. The debian vm’s wan uses the lan bridge in nethsec. Lemme know if I’m thinking wrong here. Thanks.
