I try to setup a default rule to be able to send mails via this mailserver - bimap.A1.net
The credentials are working with NS7, on NS8 I get a timeout:

I could reproduce the issue. It’s maybe because secure renegotiation isn’t supported by the SMTP server and the fallback to SMTPS doesn’t work on that port.
Did you already try port 465?
Yes, 25, 465 and 587.
Luckily, I do not have problems with: smtp.world4you.com:587
