Good morning, this morning looking at the mail logs I noticed that rip and lip have non-real ip address but it seems to me that it is from the vpn.
Is it possible to see the real ip address of who connects to the mail server?
thanks
Buongiorno, stamattina guardando i log di mail ho notato che rip e lip hanno indirizzo ip non reale ma mi sembra che sia della vpn.
E’ possibile vedere il reale indirizzo ip di chi si connette al server di posta?
grazie
is the ip of the wireguard wg0 interface of ns8 used for the migration from nethserver7? the network and the gateway work in another ip range eth0
I use a pre-built image based on rocky linux, first or second beta I don’t remember and then updated with yum update
I was thinking of making another node based on debian 12 and then installing nethserver8 to see if I solve it and then if necessary remove the rocky
Nat direct vs mail port , with nethserver 7 no problem with rip lip in the log.
I think what you see is the sogo instance acessing the imap service.
If you access the imap service directly from a remote client the ip’s should display allright.
I use thunderbird on the pc and k9mail on the phone with the ip or dns name of the server, i use sogo only for sync contact and calendar with the phone, I can try to remove sogo and use webtop, but I’m not familiar with webtop yet for sync calendar and contact with phone
