Modify GUI Theme

I have been trying to find out how to modify the visual theme of Nethserver. I am not lazy maybe just a bit dumb. I have been looking through the documentation and the forum. No luck.

I am very impressed with NethServer… I want to be able to modify the “NethServer 7.9.2009” displayed on the right top of the GUI so that I can tack on " - devlab" for one computer and " - Production" on the other computer. This way I can have both instances open on my monitor side by side and visually distinguish which instance I was modifying.

I would be grateful for any help.

# Branding

Typically Cockpit is branded in such a way that it looks like the admin
user interface for an operating system. The "Cockpit" brand is only used
during development.

Due to trademark law, as a general rule Cockpit does not ship logos for
operating systems in its packaging. These are expected to be present on the
system itself, and are incorporated into the branding.

## How Cockpit Selects Branding

In ```$prefix/share/cockpit/branding``` are multiple directories, each of which
contain branding information. Branding files are served from the directories
based in the order below, if a file is not present in the first directory on
the list, the second will be consulted, and so on.

    $prefix/share/cockpit/branding/$ID-$VARIANT_ID
    $prefix/share/cockpit/branding/$ID
    $prefix/share/cockpit/branding/default

Haven’t tried but should be related to variables on /etc/os-release as stated in cockpit’s branding guide.
