Often in Dashboard, Threat Shield status is shown as Unknown (red background). After rebooting this is either Active or Inactive (but not sure it always is fixed with a reboot.
If I add a domain name to the Allowlist in Threat Shield IP, it doesn’t require clicking Save, and it doesn’t have an Unsaved changes button at the top to click. But for Threat Shield DNS, there is a Save button and it tells me I have unsaved changes.
But it also seems that maybe you still have to reboot to get the changes fully consistent.
Other than that this package is remarkably bullet proof. A great product!
Weird, what specs the firewall runs on? It could be that the check fails due to the service starting up or straight up crashes, this might need investigations.
This is how it works sadly, on the first one we write directly into the file, the latter on the other side supports uci changes and rollback, we’ll eventually add a layer to manage changes like every other section of the firewall as well
I have very few reports that quick changes of lists or addition can break some of the lists, since we’ll add some features to these pages later on I’ll take a look at that
