Mattermost and disaster recovery

Hello everyone, After a disaster recovery,
All mattermost data is recovered perfectly but language and some settings in admin menu are lost. Language, customization settings, notification settings are set as default.
Not a big problem.

Thanks for your bug report.
The mattermost config file /opt/mattermost/config/config.json is not included in the backup so some settings are missing after restore and additionally the conf action resets the notification settings to default.

I think the config file should be added to the backup like it is in Nextcloud.

I’m gonna test it also… I have a Mattermost installation which i am really glad to verify.
“strangely”… The full system restore (configuration first then data) operated… two times… from OSX-Virtualbox to ESXi 6.5 and from ESXi 6.5 to ESXi 7.0… worked!
Maybe i did not tweaked enough the settings?

It’s about the settings in /opt/mattermost/config/config.json.
You can change them in system console.

And i maybe change them only once, when i setup the virtual host…
I am wrong. System console is not Cockpit of nethserver… but the “admin section” of MatterMost.
