Mail, Roundcubemail, and Webtop on NS8

Hi all,

I am using Debian-12 for NS8.

I have problems with Mail, Roundcubemail, and Webtop

root@ns8:~# hostname -f
ns8.debian.toto-dev.org
root@ns8:~#

root@ns8:~# hostname -d
debian.toto-dev.org
root@ns8:~#

A real newbee question:

What should be the MX record ?
mail.ns8.debian.toto-dev.org or mail.debian.toto-dev.org.

I have doubt because to get to SFTPgo I have to use the FQDN:
https://ns8.debian.toto-dev.org/sftpgo/web/admin/login.

Also for PhpMyAdmin I have to use the FQDN::
https://ns8.debian.toto-dev.org/phpmyadmin/.

EDIT:
After the installation of MAIL, it shows:
image

And it is asking to enter the MX record

If I enter mail, it changes the Primary mail domain
image

After clicking Next, the domain is the name given by hostname -d
image

If I click Create domain, nothing happens.

Hi all,

I used mail.debian.toto-dev.org and the installation of MAIL went OK.

I installed Rouncubemail and also all went OK

When I try to connect to Roundcubemail with: http://roundcubemail.debian.toto-dev.org it dipllays:
image

This is a bug

I reboot and try again. This time I can connect with no problem.

So the solution, is as always, to use mail.debian.toto-dev.org.

SUGGESTION

The installation should display: mail.domain.tld

and not the FQDN.

Hi all,

The bug is not from the installation of MAIL but from the Notification dsiplaying that the configuration is completed but Podman is still working on it.

I just have to wait for a while before trying to go to the URL to login.
