This is the first time that we organize an entire training session for the whole community.
Our goal is simple: level up your Linux and NethServer skills with a free online course

We are happy to invite you to the first online course in English on Nethserver and Linux.

This course will introduce Linux basics, focusing on the NethServer distribution.

  • Installation of NethServer
  • Hardware compatibility
  • Software packages
  • Bash shell
  • Processes and services
  • Files and filesystems
  • System boot
  • Network and firewall
  • Software Center
  • Backup and Restore
  • Log analysis and Fail2ban
  • System statistics and graphs
  • Additional topics on request

Where and when

Online

  • November 4, 2020, 9:30 - 13:00 and 14:30 - 18:30 CET

  • November 5, 2020, 9:30 - 13:00 CET

At the end of the course we will send you a test.

Scoring 70% or above, the test is successful and you will receive your certificate.

How will I be able to follow along? Hopefully we have some subtitles or the ability to ask some clarifying questions.

It’s 2020 in highly mobile world, I’d attend irregardless so long as I had subtitles :stuck_out_tongue:
The only reason I ask is that the training events are around 1 AM for me and I want to make sure I prep my head for learning so early in the morning.
