LemonLDAP-NG App released

We’re pleased to announce that after close collaboration between @stephdl and myself, the application is now considered stable and ready for production use—or at minimum, release candidate evaluation.

To support ongoing development and distribution, I’ve established my own repository, which is now publicly available at:

https://forge.ksatdesign.com.au/ns8/updates/

We welcome testing, feedback, and contributions as we continue refining the release.

dont worry @stephdl the lazyty in tech is real

Nice one Shane, This should make my efforts to Migrate to NS8 alot more easer, I hope.

Just deploy new NS8 Instance, migrate Ldap users, install new LLNG instance, Clone / copy previous configs, Adjust the parameters in all apps using it. then i am on NS8.

repeat the migration for All other Apps while pointing to new NS8 LLNG.

Is it necessary to install a separate LE certificate for each of these FQDNs?

auth.domain.com
manager.domain.com
test1.domain.com
test2.domain.com
lemonldapng.domain.com

I don’t think so as auth and manager are already covered by letsencrypt and the others seem to be config examples.

Now they are on it. They also look better somehow.

But who wants to configure it so that it works properly? My evening school course “How do I use my iPhone properly?” is certainly not enough. :grinning:

Correct they don’t need to be seperate the only seperate certificate is the one for signing (i.e.,SAML) as it is best to have a non changing one as you would have to update the metadata on both lemonldap and saml compatible app every time certificate changes
