LAN adapter not found

Good point of view!
For many times I think in the same manner.

I think that NICs with Realtek chipset should works.

When you go to buy your Nic.
Ask the vendor if itā€™s lunux compatibleā€¦ If the vendor not able to answer, take the permission to google the information.

if you can, buy NIC with intel chipsetā€¦ fully supported, fast and reliableā€¦

Always!
Like you (your logo show this), Iā€™m an Intel fan.

wellā€¦ if you take a look at my avatarā€¦ itā€™s not ā€œintelā€

I know what is write inside of the avatar but the rest ā€¦ And of course, because of what you write maybe you donā€™t like Intel at all!

With the link to the supported hardware I found the Realteck chipset of the adapter I will buy is supported.

My computer shop didnā€™t have the LAN adapter in stock so I bought an Intel LAN adapter and it works
They would get the adapter next day but I need 30 minutes to drive one way and so it was cheaper to buy it for $30 more than to spent the time to drive there again.

Amazon, always

It isnā€™t a real option in Australia because it is all oversee (outside Australia). If I order something per internet it will need best case 3 days up to 4 weeks.
Only what works are ebooks
