Join Debian 11/12 to Nethserver 7 Active Directory

Hi there!!!

This insturccions are not working with Debian 11 / 12, i don’t like the CID application (too invasive) and buggy (some times it locks ) and doesn’t accept GPOs.

Any help will be aprecciated.

Join in Windows Active Directory Domain with Realmd.

Hi there again.

Following the steps it says: su: Error del sistema.

When I login it doesn’t create home directory.

I did a Test on a virtual Debian 12 (mate) machine and it worked like expected:

fausp thanks!!! have You put the machine inside NAT? I have to probe in the server from work…

I’ll have to do the steps again. don´t know where is the mistake.

The Windows Server 2019 and the debian12 was in the same subnet.

I did the exact same steps: Join Windows AD

That’s the problem, Is not a Windows server is a NethServer were I’m trying join. I will repeat the steps and try to know where si te mistake in the config.

Worked also with a Nethserver 7.9 AD Domain:

gives this error… in a fresh debian 11 instalation.

Don’t know what to do, help will be apreciated.
