Letsencrypt will enter public beta in December, the client is still evolving fast, support for pytohn 2.6 is on the way, things will mature.

but I (we, if you know what I mean ) am a bit reluctant to use a script…
there are some available rpms in opensuse buildisys, but they are far from beoing usable (for example, all the python dependencies are not declared into the .spec file, so it’a a nigthmare to install them)
