Import of users on NS 7 RC3

NS7 RC3
We are trying to import a SME 8 backup to NS (only file share and LDAP) and got the following errors

The db accounts does have the users but the server-manager page does not display anything other than admin. But the groups are listed. I can add a user to a group even though they are not displaying. No home directories have been created nor data migration. Ibays are fine.

It was a clean install into a VM. Should we have created the users manually before import?

migration from SME 8 is not ready yet :slight_smile:

We are working on it, please be patient!

Hi Giacomo
This was on a test Vm machine. So if there is anything you would like us to
test please ask/advise.
When 7 is release will 6.8 migrate up or will it need format and reload?

Thank you for your help! We’re working on the migration procedure. It is developed separately from the Final release.

We will make an attempt with the upstream upgrade tool. I hope it works :wink:
