IMAP Incoming frequent failure

Hi there,
I recently deployed Nethserver 6.9 on a production. I am the only user using IMAP connection from Laptop, Desktop and Mobile phone.
IMAP service is running with ports TCP: 110,143,4190,993,995
When ever I try to connect from my Ms Outlook 2010 with all the ports mentioned above am getting errors.
Help me out how to fix this.

Which type of errors?

Where?
Only when you are outside your network (connected to internet) or always?

Imap with ssl works on 993 port

You have to configure your account in Outlook then, in the account configuration panel (“E-mail accounts” Window), click on “More settings…” button on right-bottom of the window.

In “Internet E-Mail settings” Window

  • go to “outgoing server mail” tab
    My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication: checked
    Use same setting as my incoming mail server: checked
  • go to “Advanced” tab:
    Incoming server (IMAP): 993
    Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
    Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
    Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

(in the point 7 of the examle, if the incoming server is the same of the outgoing server, you can check “Use same setting as my incoming mail” instead of the “Log on using”)

Thanks for the reply. I already did the steps what you have mentioned, but in vain.
Any how fixed the issue by increasing the time in Advance tab from 1 min to 10 min.
Now my issue is fixed.
