hi
In the web panel http://IP:980 I have
Active Directory local accounts provider for ns.local - Samba DC version 4.9.18
and samba displays me
[/var/lib/machines/nsdc/usr/bin] $ smbstatus -V
Version 4.10.16
I want to upgrade samba version 4.16 or 4.17 Nethserver works as a domain controller How to do it without pain?

Don’t. Seriously, don’t. Especially if you’re using it as a DC.

there is some work done to upgrade to 4.16, but it is in testing and not really recommended or suitable for production:
Now that the 22H2 has rolled out:
it is possible to login with the policy fix, but things like GPOs and administrative tools just wont work. Are there possible fixes for the older Samba-dc version Nethserver 7 uses? Because it seems that latest version of Samba has fixed this issue.
