NethServer Version: 7.9.2009 and 8
Module: nextcloud sogo
good morning,
Last weekend we tried to migrate NS7 to NS8. Migration tool on NS7 said " All succsessfull migrated "
But we were not able to start web interface of nextcloud or sogo…
But we have to work and that’s why we powered off NS8 and started NS7 again.
At NS7 Sogo works but web interface of nextcloud says “Nextcloud is migrated” on a white paper.
Than we restored the last backup from before migration, but the same story.
How is it possible to restore a backup at 3 or 4 days ago. I remember that this was possible some years ago, a command like " backup-data restore -3days …" or so ??
As alternative to a full system restore, you can just revert the changes to NS7 configuration applied by the migration tool: it is just a matter of re-enabling the migrated services.
The manual procedure is documented in the migration tool developer’s manual: nethserver-ns8-migration — NethServer 7 documentation
@stephdl, please add relevant commands for SOGo.

Question in NethServer 7 migration — NS8 documentation we do not document how to get back the previous migrated application on the NS7
Maybe we should drop a line with the link to the readme of nethserver-ns8-migration
What do you think ?

I think it’s a good idea to drop a link in the docs because reenabling NS7 after migration was asked several times recently.
