How to update alpha 7.2 at the terminal

For some reason when updating using the software centre it fails saying clear yum cache. I was wondering if there was a way of updating direct from the terminal?

‘yum update’ should do something good

Ok Steph, I will be working on the server later today and give it a try.
I have issued a csr and it looks like the new cert is ready to install, but because of this problem I have not been able to download and install it.
Many thanks.
John.

Many thanks Steph, everything is updating now.

Hi Steph. Everything updated except samba4, there seems to be a problem with dependencies.

Try this and post what is exactly the yum error

yum clean all --enablerepo=*; yum update -y

@johnjervig did you have sort it out?

I will be trying this out this week, I have been a little busy lately, and as Samba support is not vital at the moment I have not been too worried about it.
Thank you all for your help with this.
Regards.
John.
